This reminds me of a quote from Khaled Hosseini:
β€œLike a compass needle that points north, a man's accusing finger always finds a woman. Always.”

does that mean you judge everyone by the same standard...reminds me of the cartoon with a fish, giraffe, elephant and monkey standing for an exam. The examiner says it will be equal for all and asks them to climb a tree !!

I will still think the same...some heavy work stuff is better done by men and some delicate work by women..both can do each other's work, no doubt about it..but given an opportunity will this woman want to do this kind of physical work for earning money..don't think so..

Wow, the balancing act with the weight of the sand, and walking that ledge. Hoping it was not too big of a drop.

I really am, this is really fascinating, but also sad. Can read the cares and toil on the young woman's face!

Once again a great capture of life's idiosyncrasies.

It's not the frown on her forehead that dodges the sun ...it's the gleam in her eyes when she earns the next meal for those who call her 'ma'
