Mundane Monday Challenge #85 : Learn Photography

Living in Nature

Welcome to Mundane Monday Challenge v 2.0

There are two ways to look at this challenge. One is to look around and find beauty. That is a great way to look at mundane things and be grateful for them. It can help one to change their perspective and helps one to understand that nothing is Ordinary.

The second way to approach this challenge is to look around and find beautiful frames. Try to include a mundane object in such frame. And by following or un-following the composition guidelines, make them look great. This not only helps you to with changing the perspective, but also with improving your photography skills.

I want you to focus on making interesting frames and photographs. So the focus is more on photography. Now I want you to make beautiful compositions of those seemingly mundane objects.

I have already written a few guidance on how to try and make a mundane setting into a beautiful frame. Below you can find the link

To get the most out from this challenge here are some: Guidelines

The new challenge, from here onwards will be called

Mundane Monday Challenge : Learn Photography

This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things and frame it beautifully and upload the photographs. And give me a pingback by including the url of this post in your challenge post. [ Please DO Leave the link in the Comments. Lately some of the pingbacks are not working. ]

If you think this challenge helps you to see ordinary things in a more beautiful way and to improve your photography, do help a friend to improve their skills .too. You are free to Tag/Challenge a friend to join MMC, so that world around us look more beautiful to more people around us.

  1. Hey Jithin,

Hoping all is well my friend…sorry to have been absent from here for some months…I am blaming the time-stealing pixie who lives in the shadows of my house for not allowing time or opportunity to visit more frequently lol 🙂 However, I do drop by quite often and am always rewarded for doing so. Your photography just gets better and better, and it’s always a pleasure to visit. Thank you 🙂

I couldn’t let this beautiful image pass me by without dropping you a line to express my appreciation. It is the juxtaposition and balance of beauty with semi-dilapidation which strikes me hardest, and the promise of fertility and beauty, of growth and expansion secreted behind closed gates. The name across the entrance way…Angel Valley Institution…adds unfathomable depth to the image and weight to all the component parts. It is a photograph to both appreciate and ponder over. And I just love the redness of those flowers…the reference to passion, spirit, fire, and beauty growing in obvious and unspoilt abundance is deeply alluring. One is so easily enticed through that small, open doorway and into the heart of an angelic realm 🙂 I am left contemplating taking one small step further through the open door, eager for discovery and yet contemplative of what I will find beyond. It’s almost like standing on the threshold of a grand adventure…perhaps even a journey into the heart of Love itself.

‘Tis a superb image Jithin, and one I find tremendously inspiring 🙂 Thank you for publishing 🙂

Wishing you well for the new week ahead. Take care friend, and happy snapping! 🙂 I hope to return again shortly…pixie mischief allowing of course! 🙂

    Namaste
