Reading Time: 2 minutes

So in the previous post we were at Golden temple, the Tibetan Buddhist monastery. The visit of Kushalnagar sort of gets completed when you visit Nisargadhama, which is about 3 km away from Golden temple.

Nisarghadhama is an island with lots of bamboo groves, sandal woods and teak trees. There is an entry fee to this island. This place attracts many people from different parts of the country on a daily basis. It’s a great place for a one day family outing.

Get your tickets and get ready to enter the island through a hanging bridge.

Welcome to Nisargadhama

Welcome to Nisargadhama. Lets go see the sights.

If you want to enjoy the day with less crowd, obviously visit the place during weekdays. Fewer people and plenty of shades to relax for the entire day.

Oops, there isn’t plenty of shades! But hey, we are just beginning.

Lets meet some people.

What I felt from seeing the people that it is a favourite weekend outing place for the family and kids. No wonder, because they get to see this.

Deer of Nisargadhama

A lot of them, up close and personal. And you can feed them too.

Some more deer

And some more.

Lets relax dear

It will be the deer, the first thing that will come to my mind when thinking about this place.

But for some artists, it can be this.

art work, nisargadhama, coorg

Creative art!

This is one example how creative the artist can be and how they are able to turn anything and everything into a wonderful piece of art!

Painted it with creativity

So these artists just turned these strange-looking branches of trees into something interesting.

‘The elephant ride to remember’ will be some other people’s first thought.

Elephant ride to remember

The elephant I saw that day was a terror!

The terror tusker

But luckily he was acting as innocent as a lamb.

Now you know, its the mind game that controls even the mightiest!

From the biggest, now lets go and meet the smallest of this place.

Aren’t they cuties?

Yum yum.

Aren’t they cute?!

Well, if you are tired of this photo walk, lets take a break and relax. The choice is your. Where do you want to relax?
